Come learn how to “speak as oracles of God”

(1 Peter 4:11),

as you learn Christ and preach Christ

at the Word of Life School of Christ!

This above study examined the persuasive parallels between Judah’s appeal in Genesis 44 and Paul’s speeches in Acts, exploring how biblical persuasion uses truth, character, reason, compassion, and self-sacrifice.

And so our goal is tho use Bible tools for Bible things like persuading people to be prepared for the judgment (2 Corinthians 5:11).

We are not aligned with human denominations,
but seek to follow the pattern of the New Testament,
and to be simply Christians in the church of Christ.
“that you all agree, and that there be no divisions among you,
but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.”
(1 Corinthians 1:10, ESV)

We believe in the one body of Christ, the church,
which He purchased with His own blood.
“Take heed… to care for the church of God,
which he obtained with his own blood.”
(Acts 20:28, ESV)

Christ is the Head of the body, the church.
“And he is the head of the body, the church…”
(Colossians 1:18, ESV)

We stand in Christ to build up the churches of Christ spoken of in the Scriptures.
“All the churches of Christ greet you.”
(Romans 16:16, ESV)

Our aim is to follow Christ alone, according to His Word,
and to speak as the oracles of God.
“whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God…”
(1 Peter 4:11, ESV)

Christ—clearly proclaimed.

Classes focus on public reading of Scripture, exhortation, teaching, sound doctrine, evangelism, and practical Christian living.

The school is for:

• Christians who desire deeper Bible knowledge.

• Preachers and evangelists.

• Men and women who desire to grow in faith and service.

• Christians in nations where sound biblical training is difficult to access.

3. Is this a denomination?

We seek to follow the New Testament pattern and encourage people to be simply Christians.

“That there be no divisions among you…”

7. What subjects are taught?

The primary subject of the school is the study of God’s Word.

Classes focus on:

  • Old Testament studies
  • New Testament studies
  • Verse-by-verse Bible studies
  • Christian living
  • Evangelism
  • Sound doctrine
  • Public reading of Scripture
  • Teaching others also

As we study Scripture, we naturally learn history, geography, language, reasoning, communication, and whatever other subjects the text may touch upon, insofar as they are relevant and necessary for understanding and communicating God’s Word.

These subjects remain servants of the text rather than the focus of the curriculum.

Their study is therefore incidental to the school’s primary purpose: the study of God’s Word.

Our aim is to keep the focus on knowing Christ, understanding Scripture, and applying it faithfully in daily life.

We seek to emphasize those things that most directly help Christians know Christ, understand His Word, walk faithfully with God, serve in His kingdom, and teach others also.

“The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”
(1 Timothy 1:5, ESV)

“Preach the word;
be ready in season and out of season…”
(2 Timothy 4:2, ESV)

8. Do I need to be a preacher to enroll?

No.

The school is open to Christians who desire to grow in knowledge, faith, and service.

Many students are not preachers.

9. How much time is required?

Students are encouraged to participate consistently according to the class schedule.

The goal is steady growth through regular study of God’s Word.

10. Will I receive a certificate?

Students who complete designated studies may receive certificates recognizing faithful participation and biblical study.

These certificates are recognition certificates and do not claim governmental accreditation, academic licensing, or denominational endorsement.

Their purpose is to acknowledge study, participation, and growth in Scripture.

11. What does “M.Th. Biblical Studies Certificate” mean?

The M.Th. Biblical Studies Certificate reflects advanced participation in the school’s biblical studies program.

The phrase is understood within the school’s educational framework as:
